The Keenagers are a group of senior adults who meet socially to celebrate the joy of Christian life and the journey God has for them. They strive to accomplish their mission which is to reflect on past joys, focus on the present, and plan for the future with ministries and activities that emphasize that life continues to hold joy for them. History of EMBC Keenagers.

The senior adult ministry was established at EMBC in 1974, when Edwin and Ellinee White moved back to McComb from California. Ellinee named the group Keenagers and planned week-long trips along with monthly luncheons.

In 1988, Addie White began planning the trips, and Ellinee continued directing the luncheons until 1999. EMBC salutes these leaders for their work with the Keenagers. The church honors this group of senior adults - Keenagers! They are teachers, leaders and witnesses. They visit others and care for one another. They fellowship, travel and love to eat. Come join us!
